Our last day a board ship we docked on the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica at the Marenco Biological Reserve which held the most incredible surprise…wild McCaws…these magnificent birds flew over our heads and were undisturbed by our presence, we thought, until John and I started feeling something hard hitting our heads and shoulders…a McCaw was in the tree above us dropping nuts on our heads as a warning to leave! This peninsula has miles of unspoiled beaches, rocky headlands, and crystal clean waterfalls…truly beautiful
A LITTLE JACK RUSSEL WAS WAITING TO GREET US!!
We spent the last night celebrating our upcoming 50th Anniversary with our new friends and then prepared to debark first thing the following morning.
Sue, I LOVED seeing your blog, and what a fabulous trip! Your photos and comments are terrific! Thanks so much for including me in the fun.....love, Jane
